"Tom Paine" is a New Zealander living in Australia under an assumed height. Disguised as a mild-mannered reporter for the mainstream media, at 8:49am on the morning of Tuesday Septmber 11th, 2001, Eastern Standard Time, certain major non-humorous events transformed him into "Tom Paine", SNN's crack interviewer and scourge of the politically correct. It took him more than two months to completely reverse his former center-left beliefs and values (it turns out there's, like, a ton of paperwork involved). As a Jew, his main activities include cooking for friends, walks on the beach, and staying alive. His interests include history, science fiction and maintaining Western imperialist global hegemony through the application of overwhelming firepower and hugs.
Brian of London began actively blogging and podcasting one day when he was taken by surprise by a lesbian and wound up on US talk radio. Brian of London is not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy. One day, when Tom threatened to close his favorite podcast, Shire Network News, pleading a lack of time, he stupidly offered technical assistance with producing the show and half an hour later became the host. Brian's interests include world peace and an end to world hunger. He's also rather keen on saving the free world from its destruction by both its own hand and the malign influence of people who believe the ultimate guide to their existence is to be found in the example of a self proclaimed Prophet with a penchant for marrying 6 year old children.
